New Delhi: India has issued visa to Australian batsman Usman Khawaja for playing Champion League which was previously refused by the authorities, what Khawaja said due to his Pakistani origin.
Khawaja will represent South and Wales in the upcoming Champion League twenty-20 series scheduled in September.
Earlier, the Pakistani born Australian batsman had posted on twitter after India refused to grant him visa that the Indians needed to correct their attitude and termed the refusal as prejudice, He said he was refused because he was born in Pakistan not in India.
