Lawyer of one of the convicts Afsar Khan on Tuesday filed the application, challenging the sentence handed down by the anti-terrorism court on Friday.
The ATC judge Bashir Khoso had awarded death sentence to Rangers official Shahid Zafar and life term to six others accused, including one civilian Afsar Khan.
