Talking to a private Pakistani TV channel Aaj’s programme “Islamabad Tonight” with Nadeem Malik, he said Ajmal Pahari who has been in jail got training from India.
He revealed that four target killers who were arrested from Karachi hail from gang war but their political affiliation would be informed soon.
He said gang war’s terrorist Rehman Baloch was killed in Pakistan People’s Party period while People’s Aman Committee was also dissolved in PPP tenure.
He alleged that police has been demoralized preplanned and the police officers who participated in the Karachi operation had been targeted killing.
Following the killing of at least 114 people in a week, the minister said that imposition of Governor Raj would be considered failure of democracy but he accepted that military could be called if needed.
Memon blamed that external forces are behind Karachi violence, saying the elements who do not want to see strengthen Pakistan are disturbing the city.
