Quetta: The main accused of Kharotabad incident – in which five Chechen nationals including two women were shot dead by Frontier Constabulary and Balochistan police personnel on May 17 in the suburb area of Quetta – was shot and injured while another man was killed on late Monday.
The main accused of Kharotabad incident ASI Raza Khan who was suspended from his post after he was allegedly found guilty in the killing of five Chechens.
Police officials said that Raza Khan was receiving life threats from various unknown numbers for a week.
The incident took place in Khoratabad – the same place where five Chechens were killed – when ASI Raza Khan was on his was with his cousin. His cousin whose identity was yet to be known died on the spot while Raza Khan received bullets wounds in his belly and legs.
Raza Khan was rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him out of danger.
