Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah on Saturday announced to observe mourning day on Monday in response of the deadly twin blasts in Abbas Town area of Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan.
At least 25 people have been killed and 65 others injured in the twin blasts in Abbas Town area of the city. Immambargah of the area was targeted in the attack.
The chief minister also announced that the national flag will fly at half-mast due to the mourning.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister has also directed authorities to carry out investigations against the blast.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) has also announced to observe mourning day on Monday (tomorrow). Different Shiite organizations have announced to observe strike across the city on Monday.
Meanwhile, Transport associations, School, college and University managements have announce to closed their business and educational institutes. Meanwhile, the traders and lawyers association would also remain close in the city.
