Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (like Minded) leader Arbab Ghulam Rahim on Tuesday night arrived Pakistan after ending his self-imposed exile from 2008.
Hundreds of activists of the like Minded group were present at Lahore airport, waiting for their leader to address them.
After developing differences with the PML (Q), he established a forward bloc within the party in the name of PML(Q) L and was elected president unopposed of the party on Feb, 12, 2012.
Due to the absence of Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim for 40 consecutive days of the assembly sittings the Provincial Assembly of Sindh declared his seat as vacant in March 2012.
A big public gathering has also been scheduled after the arrival of Dr Rahim in Lahore where party leaders and workers from all over the country will participate.
It may be mentioned here that Rahim is considered to be an arch-rival of the Pakistan Peoples Party and some MPAs and ministers have been demanding the arrest of Dr Rahim on his arrival, alleging that he had not given security to Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto whose caravan came under attack on October 2007.
