Lahore: Tehrik-i-Minhajul-Quran (TMQ) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Tuesday said that Pakistan would fall if the free and fair polls would not held in the country.
Talking to media after his arrival from Canada at Lahore airport, the TMQ chief said that there was no benefit of the elections unless electoral reforms were made.
“It is not possible to eliminate terrorism from the country until and unless the removal of tax evaders and corrupt leaders of the country.”
He further said that the new policy of the party would be announced in the public gathering of the TMQ on March 17 at Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi.
Qadri also condemned the torching of Christian houses in Joseph colony area of the city adding that the leaders had failed to overcome the terrorism.
“Nation had to rise up against these political leaders in order to save the integrity of the country.”
