Nevada: At least seven US Marines were killed and seven others injured after a blast in a military ammunition storage facility during a military exercise at the Hawthorne Army Depot in Nevada.
Spokesperson of US Army has confirmed the incident, fearing more casualties.
The blast is not connected to the ammunition stored at the facility about 140 southeast of Reno, a local TV channel quoted an official as saying.
Local media says six of the injured were taken by helicopter to the hospital.
The Associated Press says an official at the site confirms that an explosion took place but that full extent of casualties and their condition was not immediately clear.
