ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday during his very first address that US drone attacks must be closed in the tribal belt of Pakistan.
Pakistan Muslim League chief Nawaz Sharif has been elected as new Prime Minister of Pakistan on June 5 (today) by securing 244 votes in National Assembly.
During his first address, Nawaz Sharif has thanked the Pakistani nation for selecting him as PM and his party members in majority across the country through his vote power in such difficult environment.
Sharif vowed that PML-N will never break the confidence of the nation as well as the NA members who voted him in the PM election.
He said that democracy is correlative for Pakistan and the only way to make change in the country instead of dictatorship who always created mess locally and damaged the image between international community.
Sharif also addressed the members from other parties, he said that it is the time to think for Pakistan only and all other political powers should sit together to resolve the country’s issues.
He said that we are going to built Pakistan in new perspective which is far from terrorism, load shedding, inflation, corruption and several other issues and seek support in this matter from all members of assemblies.
The new PM appreciated the decision of previous government to hand over Gwadar free port project to China and agreed to continue work on the port.
