ISLAMABAD: In order to ensure and make the researcher realize that how a little more effort they can their researches to be in accordance with the latest international research standards, the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) organized a workshop for Research Instructors titled as “Aligning evolving Referencing Styles with Digital Document Processing Mechanism- Turnitin”, at National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad, today.
The workshop focused on issues related to evolving referencing styles in research reports/theses, and Turnitin document processing. The participants shared details about referencing practices in their relevant disciplines.
Adnan Rashid, Focal Person of Anti-Plagiarism, was the resource person. The workshop was attended by 15 participants from main campus and representatives from regional campuses of NUML through Video Conferencing.
The resource person addresses these issues by explaining the mechanism involved in Turnitin document processing. He further told the participants that by aligning their research with the standards of Turnitin, they could add value and credibility to their researches otherwise they would not have any credit of their efforts.
It is pertinent to mention that QEC at NUML regularly holds workshop regarding anti-plagiarism mechanism in academic research to train the students and researcher to learn the digital document processing mechanism.
