ISLAMABAD: After Nawaz Sharif’s unique record of becoming the premier for the third time, President Asif Ali Zardari is going to set a new record.
He will be addressing for the sixth consecutive time to the joint session of the parliament of the country.
It will also be a first ever address after transition of an elected government from another elected government in the parliamentary history of the country, where around four decades were ruled by non-elected governments.
The president is likely to reveal his expectations from the newly elected government besides giving political parties of the nuclear state from south Asia his warm regards for empowering democratic norms.
