ISLAMABAD: The committee of finance of the upper house of the parliament recommends suspending General Sales Tax as well as all taxes.
According to Standing Committee on Finance official, the members asked the government to annul all taxes imposed on June 13th including GST.
The recommendation was made during a meeting of the committee. Chairperson Nasreen Jalil, Haji Adeel, Islam-ud-Din Sheikh, Sughra Imam, Kulssom Parveen, Haji Ghulam Ali, Fateh Muhammad Hassni, Talha Mehmood and Ilyas Bilour recommended the suspension of the taxes.
