ISLAMABAD: Ensuring immediate measures for the release of captive Pakistan educationist in United States, Interior Minister says early release will be taken to bring Aafia Siddiqui back.
He expressed these feelings while meeting with Dr. Fouzia Siddiqui who briefed him about various steps for incarceration of Dr. Aafia in US.
Dr. Aafia Siddiqui has been in the United State prison for the last several years on allegations of firing on US troops.
She narrated the efforts made by previous government to get her release from the prison‚ which failed to prove fruitful results, the official Radio of the country reported.
