ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has expressed outrage on the killing of foreign tourists and suspended Chief Secretary and Inspector General Police of Gilgit-Baltistan on Sunday.
While addressing in National Assembly session today, Chaudhry Nisar said that soldiers will also be snap-checking while entering in Red Zone.
Nisar said that the terrorists were dressed in uniforms of security men and some information has been collected for the identification of the attackers.
The interior minister stated the details of the incident, he said that 9 foreign tourists were killed in the attack including 3 Chinese, 5 Ukrainian, 1 Russian and 2 from Pakistan while a Chinese tourist has been safely recovered.
He added that dead bodies will soon be shifted to Islamabad as arrangements has been completed.
The interior minister said that the attack on foreign tourists is considered as an attack on Pakistan and local authorities are responsible to secure foreigners in the country.
