PESHAWAR: Finance Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province Siraj-ul-Haq said that KPK have an ability to produce significant amount of 25000 mega watts through different projects to eliminate the extreme shortage of electricity across the province.
The finance minister urged the federal setup to support the provincial government in this regards instead of wasting time on Kalabagh dam project.
While concluding the debate over budget in KPK assembly, Siraj-ul-Haq claimed that the large amount of 25000 mega watts could be added by investing Rs38 billion on different projects which will definitely establish provincial electricity system.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that KPK is already having loan of Rs132 billion but economical burden will be reduced if Rs84 billion released to the province as per announcement done by federal government.
The finance minister assured all parliament members that their suggestions for budget will be considered and he ensured him to end the grievances and issues of the districts across the province.
