ISLAMABAD: Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) submitted before Rawalpindi’s anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday which formally declares form President Pervez Musharraf as prime suspect in Benazir Bhutto murder case.
The presented four-point charge sheet against the former military dictator accused him for making a conspiracy against the PPP top leader Benazir Bhutto as well as he was in connection with the assassins.
It is pertinent to note, the submitted charge sheet contained the statement of the deceased Benazir’s own statement, four witnesses and two American reporters including Mark Siegel.
However, ATC ordered the Pervez Musharraf to be present in next hearing on July 2 while FIA’s special prosecutor has also been called before the court on the same date.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chief Benazir Bhutto was assassinated after her address in an election campaign on Dec 27, 2007 in Liaquat Bagh situated in Rawalpindi city .
