KARACHI: Doctors have declared that kidneys of the Edhi Foundation initiator Abdul Sattar have stopped functioning.
“There is a urgent need of transplantation and donor for kidneys are being searched,” Syed Adeeb Rizvi, head of SIUT said.
Though there are many people ready for donation but Edhi is declining to accept anyone’s kidney.
According to Rizvi, he is in better condition and has been visiting the hospital for dialysis.
“We have been pursuing him to accept the kidney from a donor,” he further said.
The internationally known social workers was submitted to SIUT last week after his condition got worsen; however, later on his condition got stable.
