ISLAMABAD: Setting another example of austerity and simplicity, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif declines to take bullet proof cars for his motorcade.
PM Office officials say that former government had approved purchasing bullet proof cars on behalf of cabinet division. As the order was already placed and the payment was made, now these cars are on provision of cabinet division.
“Now these bullet proof cars will be used during visits of foreign leaders,” they further said.
PM office has made it clear to the cabinet division in a letter that PM House will not use these cars.
