LAHORE: Expressing his worry over centuries old rotten system of Pakistan Railways, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader Khawaja Saad Rafique says rectifying the system needs a bit time.
“By the end of term of the government, you will be seeing an improved Railways,” federal minister for Railways said.
He was talking with newsmen at the Lahore Station before leaving for Rawalpindi through train. The move is likely to be aimed at looking the actual condition of the ministry as well as condition of the passengers.
The minister revealed that officials did make up moves whenever he visit a place saying all such measures need time to get permanent.
“Stinking systems, which is centuries old, will certainly take some time to get cleaned.”
