ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will chair a meeting to finalise future national energy policy in Islamabad on Friday (today).
PM Sharif will head high level meeting to finalise the new national policy designed for elimination of energy crisis in Pakistan.
According to sources, generation of energy by using the country’s solar and coal resources will be on top-priority by the PM.
Pakistan’s Information Minister Pervaiz Rashif told the media that government is taking serious actions to overcome the heavy energy crisis while priority will be given to solar and coal based energy generation.
Moreover, The prime minister of Pakistan will formally announce the implementation details of the energy policy after gaining confidence of all provinces in the session of joint interests council, scheduled on July 29.
