KARACHI: Seems to be irked by repeated calls of strike in the port city, Chief Minister of Sindh Province Syed Qaim Ali Shah appeals to Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain to avoid giving calls of ‘Youm e Saug’ or mourning day.
“The repeated calls are not only beneficial for Karachi but also for Sindh and Pakistan,” he said while speaking at the Sindh Assembly session on budget this evening.
Giving an explanation on lawlessness in Karachi, Shah was of the view that Director General of Rangers was not under his control.
Reacting hard on the appeal to MQM leader, the member of provincial assembly of MQM observed that Qaim Ali Shah should avoid support criminals of Lyari Gang War.
“In that case, MQM Altaf Hussain would not need to give protest calls in the city,” they commented.
