LAHORE: Defending federal government’s decision to impose heavy taxes on prepaid mobile connections, Senior Minister of Punjab Rana Sanaullah says late night talkers should pay a bit to government too.
Talking with media outside the assembly hall after the approval of the budger, he, however, accepted that mobile phone was a necassity for a common man.
Federal Government had imposed a tax up to 35 percent on the prepaid cards, which it later reduced to 15 percent. The decision has triggered a strong wave of critcism on social media, which has youth as the most number of user.
Rana Sanaullah, known for his witty use of words, advised to late night mobile talkers that there was no need to talk for hours in night.
