With a likely tough competition from Apple’s iPad Mini 2 and iPad 5, Samsung thinks of something new with display of its flagship device Galaxy Note 3.
Samsung could go for experimenting an IPS LCD display for a Note 3’s portion keeping in view edge of of Apple’s Retina display.
“Samsung is considering the use of IPS LCD on its next-big-thing model, Galaxy Note III, together with AMOLED,” PatentlyApple has quoted Korea’s IT News.

The experts say Samsung’s AMOLED display has not showed its demand up to the marking compelling the Korean giant to step into the IPS LCDs for the next generation Galaxy Note 3 or Galaxy Note III.
The firm is likely to use latest display technology in 10 percent of its Galaxy Note 3 showing its flexibility to take risk in giving its fans the cutting edge technology.
The device is likely to get first appearance at IFA with its likely release in October this year.
