Johor Bahru: Pakistan after having a tough competition against England in International Hockey Federation (FIH) World Hockey League Semi Final stated with a draw played at Johor Bahru.
Both teams starts of aggressively in the first half. England’s Oliver Willer in 13th minute scored the first goal of the match which was leveled by Pakistan Skipper Mohammad Imran scoring from the penalty corner in the first half. Adam Dixon goal at the ending minutes of first haft from a penalty corner puts England again into lead.
Green Shirts starts the second half with an aggressive approach which keeps England under pressure. Pakistan after consecutive counter attacks manages to find a penalty corner in the second half. Abdul Hassem Khan deflected the ball into the net form the penalty corner which levels the match 2-2. The score remain the same till the end of the match.
Pakistan is still at the second spot while England stand’s at third on the points table of pool B.
Now Pakistan will face South Africa in the last group match on July-1-2013.
