KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s & allies in Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and Muslim League-N’s Punjab leave Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPPS) Sindh behind to provide relief to the public during Ramadan 2013.
TheNewsTribe‘s correspondents from Lahore & Peshawar have reported that both provincial governments are arranging SASTA BAZAR during Ramadan 2013 but Sindh hasn’t considered the option.
According to the different economic surveys in the country almost 40% Pakistanis out of 180 million are living under the poverty level but the second largest province of the country is not seemed to be interested in public relief during the holy month.
“Pakistan’s largest city Karachi with the population of almost 20 million persons hasn’t any single SASTA BAZAR during Ramadan 2013, this is showing the interest level of provincial government” said Nisar Moosa, father of 3 during his comment on the situation with TheNewsTribe.
Sources related to Sindh Finance ministry told the media that the ministry don’t have enough funds to provide relief during Ramadan 2013.
Despite the claim of non availability of the funds from Provincial Finance ministry, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) government in the province has included 9 ministers and 1 adviser to Chief Minister in the cabinet a day before the starting of Ramadan 2013.
SASTA BAZAR in different parts of the country has been considered as a way to provide relief to inflation-hit masses.
