LAHORE: Menace of load shedding is shadowing the Pakistani nation but National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC) officials have claimed on Tuesday that production of electricity in the country reaches upto 15,346 mega watts.
NTDC officials said that Pakistani nation will definitely get relief by the significant increment in electricity production.
According to NTDC officials, it is the highest level of electricity generation in Pakistan while the electricity shortfall decreased upto 2900 mega watts and they termed it as the lowest figure during five years.
The statement from NTDC officials seemed ‘dreamy’ as the load shedding is continuously increasing in each province of Pakistan.
Earlier a day, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government warned protest against electricity related departments and federal government for heavy load shedding.
It is pertinent to note, PML-N formed committee to counter Pakistan’s energy crisis, the entire figure of electricity shortage around the country is 6000 mega watts and only Punjab province is facing at least 3800 mega watts.
