DUBLIN: Pakistan Women defeated Ireland by 38 runs in T20I match here at Dublin and completed another victory over the hosts after three wins in Birmingham last week.
Pakistan Bisma Maroof put an all-round performance in the game by 38 runs with the bat and grabbing three wickets for 21 runs in her four overs.
Earlier, Pakistan women won the toss and chose to bat. Nain Abidi 36 and Bisma Maroof’s 38 helped the green shirts to score 148 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Laura Delany picked three wickets for 15 runs.
Reply to this, Ireland were bowled out for 110 runs in 19th over. Clarey Shillington scored 33 while Eimear Richardson hit 34 runs for the hosts. Pakistan’s Bisma Maroof took three wickets while Nida Dar and Sadia Yousuf both sent two Irish women to pavilion.
