ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (N), the ruling party in Pakistan’s federal and two provinces has been decided categorical to nominate Former governor Sindh Mamnoos Hussain as new candidate for the President in upcoming presidential election.
According to TheNewsTribe‘s correspondent from Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan “former Pakistani envoy in UK, Ch. Sarwar has been finalized as governor Punjab”.
Earlier after the shortlisting of presidential candidates the PMLN leader from Sindh, Mamnon Hussain has met with Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef on Monday evening.
Mamnoon Hussain was one of the short listed candidates of PMLN with foreign advisor for PM Sartaj Aziz and former Supreme Court judge, Saeed ul Zaman Siddiqui.
Mamnoon Hussain was the governor of Pakistan’s southern province Sindh during early nineties government of PMLN.
Although there is no official announcement yet about the finalization of PMLN presidential candidate but sources close to Mr. Nawaz Sharif confirms that “Mamnoon Hussain will be the candidate”.
