ISLAMABAD: Refreshing their memories when they were working as coalition partners in previous regime, Awami National Party (ANP) decides to support presidential candidate of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
According to ANP leader Haji Adeel, ANP will support PPP candidate Raza Rabbani. The decision is aimed at giving tough time to ruling party Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz.
“My party has made the decision because PPP candidate Raza Rabbani supports provincial autonomy,” Adeel further said.
A consultative meeting between ANP and PPP was also organized to finalize the cooperation for upcoming presidential election.
Commenting on undecided candidate of PML-N, ANP leader viewed that PML-N seemed to be confused over the issue.
