Muhammad Sadiq, who runs a tyre repair shop near the incident place in Gulistan e Jauhar of Karachi, says Ghulam Rasool, a personnel in Rangers, opened fire on Murad Shah, the taxi driver.
The incident took place last week, when Rangers personnel opened fire on Murad assuming him to be a criminal. Murad tried to run away from the spot after being signaled to stop from the personnel. Instead he tried to reverse his taxi prompting Rangers to open fire on him. His son was injured in the incident.
After the incident, Supreme Court of Pakistan has taken notice of the incident and ordered arrest of the personnel.
After hearing the account, Ghulam Rasool and other three personnel have been sent to jail till July 31.
