ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader and parliamentary leader has clarified that PPP and its partners decided to boycott presidential election hence casting vote to anyone is out of question.
While answering a question for casting vote to PTI candidate Justice (Retd) Wajiduddin Ahmed, Raza Rabbani answered that PPP and its partners decided to boycott presidential election hence casting vote to anyone is out of question.
PPP’s Raza Rabbani was nominated as presidential candidate for upcoming election for the post but on having reservations his party top leadership decided to boycott the event.
Rabbani said that we respect Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) for taking part in the event but the better decision was banishing the electoral process as combined opposition.
The PPP leader Raza Rabbani clarified that PPP and its coalition partners will not participate in national and provincial session.
However, the PPP leader conveyed the message on behalf of his party that People’s Party parliamentarians and its coalition partners will completely boycott the presidential election going to be held on July 30.
