KARACHI: Unidentified terrorists have carried out severe bomb attack on a local newspaper’s office, Express News, located in Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
The assailants targeted a media office in the metropolis via two grenade bombs and paid heavy firing from three sides of the building situated at Qayyum Abad area on Korangi road.
A security guard present inside the security check-post was injured in the attack.
Rescue teams have reached the location and shifted the injured guard to the nearby hospital.
Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies including Rangers and Police has cordoned off the whole area while the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) also been called at the incident’s site.
Some eyewitnesses told TheNewsTribe that terrorists put heavy firing directly on the office’s building from KPT fly over bridge and successfully fled the location.
