Talking with media at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, the capital city of Punjab, he admitted that Razzak had failed to perform during the series against South Africa.
The T20 captain was leaving for United Arab Emirates for a series against Sri Lanka and a starter T20 match against Afghanistan.
He was hopeful that the Green Shirts would perform in the same spirit which had defeated the Proteas at their home ground.
“Everyone is putting his utmost effort and we would try to repeat our performance,” he said.
“We would not take Afghanistan an easy side, but try to win the match with a big difference.”
Most of Pakistan players have already reached Dubai, where the national team will play Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
