ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s National Assembly (NA) on Tuesday has approved another resolution against the US drone strikes besides other resolutions including poverty diminution and an agricultural university establishment in Sahiwal.
The Pakistan’s NA has reject the resolution for imposition of ban on selling imported wine, however, several other resolutions were approved regarding drone attacks and agriculture university.
A politico-religious party, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI)’s, Member of National Assembly Naeema Kishwar presented the resolution against the US drone attacks.
Kishwar provided the stance that the spy plane attacks are the open violence of the country’s sovereignty and human rights as well as against the charter of the United Nations (UN).
The house members strongly condemned the missiles’ attack by US drones and demanded immediate closure of the violent actions in the boundaries of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Chaudhry Hamid Hameed submitted the resolution for banning trade of imported wine in the country, which subsequently rejected by the house.
