KARACHI: Pakistan’s unique record is near to break by Australia in the fourth test match of the Ashes Series.
Australia and England have hit 48 sixes so far in the first three matches of Ashes series, while Australian batsmen have hit 36 sixes alone, just a one ‘Six’ short of equaling and two ‘Sixes’ short to break the world record in a series.
Pakistan had hit 37 sixes against India in 2005-06 series. Now, Australian team is in position to break the most sixes record of Pakistan.
Kangaroos could achieve this record by hitting two more sixes in fourth test match.
Similarly, another record of 51 sixes in the Ashes series in 2005 is also near to break, because there are still two remaining Ashes matches.
