ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s federal government has made several appointments and transfers on the prominent military posts on Monday (today).
The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N)-led federal government has commenced third series of changes in military posts today after the top posts appointments including the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and the Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee (CJCSS).
The changes were made on the posts including Adjoined General Head Quarters (GHQ), Army Strategic Force Commander, Inspector General (IG) Training and Evaluation, Core Commander Army Air Defence and Chief of Logistic Staff in GHQ.
General Zameer ul Hasan has been appointed as Adjoined General Head Quarters (GHQ) while Lieutenant General Ubaid Ullah as Commander of Army Strategic Force.
Lieutenant General Ikram ul Haq was appointed on the post of Inspector General (IG) Training and Evaluation and Core Commander Army Air Defence post was handed over to Lieutenant General Zahid Lateef while Lieutenant General Tariq Jilani was honoured by the post of Chief of Logistic Staff in GHQ.
