Lahore: A Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight PK-758 has finally reached Lahore from London after delay of 50 hours due to technical fault.
Almost 350 Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) passengers faced a nightmare as they were stranded at Heathrow Airport for three days.
The flight was supposed to take off on December 25 at 1:00 a.m but at the last minute the passengers were told that the plane had developed a problem and that the PIA could not run any risk with the flight.
Due to such delay, a scuffle took place between passengers and the staffers of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) at the airport.
According to reports, the angry passengers occupied the booking/admin counter of PIA and started fighting with the staffers.
Police was called to handle the situation.
It took the local PIA management 4 hours to get the passengers in the hotels near Heathrow and those living in London went to their homes. The passengers included mainly families, planning to spend Christmas and New Year holidays with their dear ones in Pakistan but their plans were effectively ruined.
As flight has finally been reached in Pakistan but the luggage of few passengers still not arrived at the Lahore airport which increased more problems for the passengers
