ABU DHABI: The Pakistani cricket team’s captain Misbah-ul-Haq seemed completely comfortable with its international record of most 50s in 2013’s calendar year and showed no eager for centuries.
Pakistani skipper Misbah-ul-Haq revealed his intentions on having no centuries in short format cricket career; said that he is happy with the 50s beneficial for the team and nothing to do with the useless centuries.
It should be mentioned that the 39-year-old cricketer managed to set an international records of most 50s in the recent calendar year by making 15 Fifty(s) in ODI format without any century.
While talking with media, Misbah-ul-Haq expressed deep confidence over his team for giving best performance against Sri Lanka in upcoming Tests series in United Arab Emirates (UAE) as the moral of his team mates are very high after winning ODI series.
He said that Green Shirts are firmly focused on the successive fight against the Sri Lankan tigers while the return of Muhammad Hafeez in Tests’ format would make the team stronger.
The Pakistani captain told the media that the young batsmen usually face difficulty on coming 5th and 6th numbers of batting order and the team needs long partnerships on the time, hence he took the responsibility of the sequence.
