KARACHI: The President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain has claimed that no discrimination were made on basis of language or province on appointing federal secretaries and in selection of heads for national institutions, all were made on merit in the country.
President Mamnoon Hussain was talking to Sindhi media delegation in state guest house.
President Mamnoon Hussain, who is currently Vice Chancellor of more than 17 Universities of country, emphasized the need to improve education standard in schools of Sindh Province and assured that he will try his level best to solve education related problems.
Sindhi media delegation informed the president about political and economic situation of the Province. Sindhi media delegation claimed that Sindh quota in appointing federal secretaries and recruitment in other government institutions has been neglected.
Delegation demanded that provinces be made more autonomous, implemented 50% quota of Sindh in natural resources and increased quota of rural part of the province in Sindh High Court.
One member of delegation complained about discrimination continued in government advertisements to Sindhi media and President assured that government advertisements quota would be increased.
The President also assured them to solve all the problems face by Sindhi media.
