LAHORE: Pakistan ready to make another world record as 29,000 participants would likely to break the ‘Largest human national flag’ record of the Bangladesh of 27,117 volunteers here on today (Saturday).
All preparations have been completed to make the record by the government of Punjab, in the Punjab Youth Festival (PYF) at National Hockey Stadium.
Before this, Bangladesh 27,117 volunteers had broken the record of Pakistani 24,000 participants in December 16, 2013 at the National Parade Ground in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
The Guinness World Records’ record for the largest human national flag consisted of Pakistani 24,200 participants and was achieved by members of the public attending the (PYF) in the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore on October 2012.
In the last session of PYF, Pakistanis have broken several records including largest picture mosaic formed by 1936 Pakistani students. The previous records were held by Ansley McEvoy and her friends and family in South Carolina, USA.
