ISLAMABAD: British House of Lords member Lord Nazir Ahmed has appealed that government of Pakistan should help Scotland Yard by giving them access to Pakistani citizens for Investigation regarding Imran Farooq Murder case.
He emphasized on the need of helping such investigation, so that the real culprits of former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq shall be brought to justice and Pakistan’s image should be made better overseas.
Talking to media personnel inside National Press club on Sunday, Lord Nazir said that a British based terrorist organization has established its militant wing and training camps in Karachi.
Commenting on the Azad Kashmir corruption issue, He informed media that he has provided all proofs to the federal government and is only waiting for an action.
Born in Pakistan’s Mirpur village, Lord Nazir Ahmed is a member of the British House of Lords and was appointed on the recommendation of Prime Minister Tony Blair in 1998. Lord Ahmed is one of the vocal critics of MQM and its top leader Altaf Hussain.
