KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon on Monday has said Taliban understand language of force not voice and demanded a ban on pro Taliban parties.
Expressing his views on point of order in Sindh assembly and earlier talking to media, Sharjeel Memon said that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) was against the extremist thoughts, they always raised voice against Talibanization because on force of pistol and the nation could not be hostage.
Nation is on one page against Taliban, if they (Taliban) wanted to bring change in constitution then they should participate in elections, he added.
Memon reiterated that it was duty of government to provide security to people and talks with Taliban proved to be illogical.
He said nation has given clear decision regarding Taliban and they understand language of force not voice.
He demanded that parties who supported Taliban must be ban in the country.
Regarding ongoing targeted operation in Karachi he said the operation was not carried out against the any particular party.
He viewed that PPP believed in re-conciliatory politics so they have still maintained relation with political parties including Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and door for talks opened for all the parties.
