KARACHI: The Sindh provincial government on Thursday has made important announcements for strategies to control expected terrorism reactions in the metropolis after initiation of military operation in North Waziristan Agency (NWA).
High-level session, regarding law and order situation of Karachi and overall province, is underway under chair of Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, in Karachi.
The session is being attended by high-level officials of Police, Rangers and other law enforcement agencies active in the metropolis.
CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah has ordered the authorities to implement security strategies immediately before conduction of military operation in militants’ held NWA.
Shah directed the installation of scientific checkposts across the borders of Sindh.
Directions have been given to the authorities to purchase and handing over of every necessary equipments and new vehicles for the law enforcement agencies on emergency basis.
Moreover, CM Sindh imposed restriction on construction of new Islamic schools, Madarsahs, without legal permissions from the governmental departments.
