RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has called Corps Commanders’ meeting on Friday (tomorrow) amid new development of the federal government for holding direct dialogues with militants.
Corps Commander meeting will be held in General Head Quarter (GHQ) Rawalpindi tomorrow under chair of COAS General Raheel Sharif.
Detailed discussions would be commenced during the meeting regarding various national security matters as well as negotiation process with Taliban militants.
The Pakistan Army also hinted for opening consultation for addition of military officials in the federal government to be formed new committee for holding direct dialogues with Taliban.
Moreover, operational preparation and other professional affair will also be the part of meeting agenda.
