ISLAMABAD: Custom authorities on Saturday has thwarted a bid to smuggle 7 kilogram high quality heroin of million worth to Greece on Benazir International Airport and arrested an accused.
According to report, Asghar Ali of Gujrat has hide the heroin in secret cancellations of its luggage.
He had cleared himself on Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) and Airport Security Force (ASF) counters, as he reached to custom counter, official with the help of scanners found presence of heroine in his luggage.
The officials said that Asghar Ali wanted to smuggle million dollars worth heroin to Greece.
Custom officials arrested the accused and have started an investigation to apprehend his more accomplices, whereas ANF and ASF personals at the airport counter would also be investigated where accused cleared himself up softly.
