PESHAWAR: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has condemned the Peshawar blast via a tweet.
He also gave away the official number of people died and injured due to this blast in Peshawar.
According to Shehbaz Sharif, 5 people died and 25 are injured in this horrible bomb explosion.
He tweeted, “Blast in #Peshawar – 5 dead and 25 injured according to reports. RIP. A dire need to identify, isolate and punish those responsible”
But as per various media reports, at least nine people have been killed in this Peshawar attack.
The blast occurred in the Sarband area of Peshawar. Police vehicle, parked near a patrol pump, was the target of this terrorist activity.
Many policemen were also injured in this blast, according to SP City Faisal Kamran.
All the injured victims, including women and children, have been transferred to hospital.
8-10kg explosives were utilized in the explosion, said bomb disposal squad.
The area has been cordoned off by the police in order to investigate.
