SUKKUR: Khursheed Shah, leader of the Pakistan’s opposition in National Assembly, said that the government is prerogative to make decision for sending former President Pervez Musharraf abroad.
Khursheed Shah said that the court could not grant permission to Musharraf for going abroad as it was the prerogative of the government to make decision for sending Pervez Musharraf abroad.
He expressed these views while talking to media in Sukkhur. He said court has no authority to take any decision for sending Musharraf abroad. He said government had placed the name of Parvez Musharraf on ECL, adding that it was the discretion of the government to review its earlier decision. He said the time will prove what decision government takes over the issue.
Khursheed Ahmed Shah said that in the past we had seen when Mian Nawaz Sharif’s father had died, he could not secure permission to come Pakistan for attending the religious rituals of his late father, adding that we should forget the past and think about future.
