ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Wednesday has ordered that auction of 3G and 4G must be carried out uninterrupted at due date.
The three-member bench of the SC presided by Justice Jawwad S. Khawaja ordered while hearing USF fund case on Wednesday.
During the hearing, Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Syed Ismail Shah informed the apex court that it was expected to get 1.3 billion dollars in the auction of 3G and 4G licenses.
The PTA chairman viewed that media aired distorted facts regarding the auction.
He further hoped that media will not air such content that affect the auction.
Ismail Shah said that all the bidders in the auction have submitted 15% token amount.
