London: As LG’s flagship mini device LG G2 Mini unlocked finally ready to land in UK by the end of this month for £250.
The flagship LG G2 has proved to be a popular device, stirring plenty of interest with its innovative design and high-end specs and features. LG joined the “Mini” trend and launched a smaller version of its flagship as well, albeit the LG G2 Mini comes with lower-end specs to accommodate the smaller form factor and the more affordable price tag.
Clove has announced plans to launch the smartphone later this month, offering the unlocked and SIM-free handset for £250 including VAT. The handset is also available for pre-order now with “first stock due late April,” but no specific launch date available at this point.
The UK-bound LG G2 will pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and will be 4G LTE-enabled. While it sports the same intriguing design as the original LG G2, the smaller model comes with watered-down specifications, as usual with “Mini” versions of high-end flagships. The smartphone features a 4.7-inch IPS display with qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, the processor is clocked at 1.2GHz, and 1GB of RAM should allow for a fluid and responsive performance.
The LG G2 Mini also comes with 8GB of internal storage capacity and a microSD card slot for additional memory, and has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front shooter. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, HSPA+, and 4G LTE. On the software side, the LG G2 Mini runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
Clove will offer only the black version of the LG G2 Mini, while Expansys has the white model available as well for pre-order. On the other hand, Expansys has yet to offer pricing or shipping details.
You can find the LG G2 Mini on Clove UK’s website at this link, and you can also register your interest to receive further notifications about the smartphone’s launch and availability. The LG G2 Mini is also expected to be available from several carriers and retailers in the UK.
