LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Tassaduq Hussain Jillani has chaired a high-level session of ‘National Judicial Policy Making Committee’ in Lahore on Saturday.
CJP Tassaduq Hussain Jillani-led high-level session is being participated by the country’s top judges of all high courts.
CJP Jillani will be briefed with the situations and analysis of all subordinate courts by all chief justices of high courts working in the country.
While addressing the meeting, Justice Jillani said that judiciary is playing an important role to secure human rights in Pakistan.
He demanded to declare 2014 as year of tolerance for cultures and religions.
The chief justice urged that more effective laws will be introduced to secure human rights of individuals including minorities in Pakistan.
